What do I need to hook my cell phone up (that has a data package) to my laptop to get internet service?

I am wondering how I can tether my cell phone to my laptop to get internet service when I am camping??? Cell phone has a full data package from Alltell (Verizon).

    A USB cable from your phone to your laptop and the software from the service provider needs to be installed. With Verizon, I believe it is VZAccess.

    You just need a USB cable that will connect your CP to your laptop and setup your CP settings then activate modem to get access internet.
