I found one at Amazon. com that's just under $5k. The second one is even cheaper. It's only 80 pixels by 80 pixels though.

Hi there,
I typed in you tube" FLIR HOME INSPECTION" and saw a news video of a guy using a thermal camera that looks like a cell phone, then I found the site that sells it, www. raz-ir. com , it is under $5k and looks amazing. I am trying to save my money for it to start up a service too!

Fluke is one of the leaders in thermal imaging . . . some thing totally different than a $450 IR conversion of a DSLR ($2000 base).
You will need to sit down with a FLIR or Fluke representative and have them explain the differences in their products and which will provide you with the data you need for your company . . . small or not, buying the appropriate equipment is key to how well you can provide your service to your clients.
The thermal camera and software one of my clients has cost somewhere in the vicinity of over $30,000 . . . not for the faint hearted. The less than $5000 cameras are little handheld devices with 180 x 180 detector that provides 32,400 pixels resolution
