Canon EOS 7D – Versatile Auto Focus 1/8

Canon’s Most Versatile Autofocus Ever. The EOS 7D is Canon’s latest DSLR, built for those seeking the convenience and affordability of the EOS 50D, inspired by the image quality and HD video potential of the EOS 5D Mark II, and eager for the high performance and durability of the EOS-1D series. This is a totally new class of camera built from the ground-up to capitalize on advances in Canon’s AF system, EOS HD Video functionality, exposure performance, and other core technologies. Combined with the best existing features of the current EOS line, the EOS 7D goes beyond capturing amazing still images — it’s a complete media creation tool.

I love how he talks. So calm. :P
He seems like a very nice person. LOL.

  7. YEZwizz says:

Yes it might not be as good as the 7d or even replacing it but there is that I’m suppossing to be getting. It’s called the Canon Rebel t2i.

  8. KapteinFruit says:

Da tror jeg at jeg gjør det. ;)

  12. KapteinFruit says:

    I really want a Canon EOS 7D.
I might get one in May, but not sure.
Do anyone know if it’s going to come a camera in the same lineup that will replace the 7D?

  13. BloodBr0thers says:

Yeah the Canon 7d is great. . . We shot our short film with it. . .

  14. rubent100 says:

Did you shoot 1080? I heard you can get 12 minutes on a 4GB card at 720p? Can you please clear up how much video i can get with 4GB and how much i can get with a 16GB card and at what format? Thanks

  15. newrepublicmovie says:

We shot a feature using the 7D and used 3- 16GB cards. got just under 15 mins on each card and diged as we shot. Worked out really well. Check out our behind the scenes.

  16. pilotemtnils says:

it is 4 Gigs before a break

  17. pmgsound says:

    apparently it is 29 mins

  18. OcRaM86 says:

how long can i shoot in hd without a brake ?

  19. ptys007 says:

I moved to 7D from XTi, which is similar in image quality terms to 40D. I do not care about 18mp photos as I do not need them that large (I store 8-10mp at most), but let me tell you, the ability to crop from 7D shots is phenomenal. It is just something else. With good lenses you do not need any extenders, just crop.

  20. dfewz says:

such a beauty. 19AF points. WOW. what if you have 85mm f1. 2 on it? dang. . .

  21. SilkwoodProductions says:

I apologize for my typo. I meant to say “40D”, not D40. If the EOS 7D does provide better IQ than the 40D, it is not by much. My contention is that Canon added megapixels that are not needed (unless one is printing larger than 16×20) at the expense of dynamic range, which is frequently needed, especially at high ISO settings. This trade-off was also a mistake, given the fact that very few, if any, Canon lenses even resolve image detail at the level of the 4. 3µm pixel pitch of the 7D.

  22. video1688 says:

I love Canon d7 as it is good quality

  23. provid1234 says:

    how is it bad.

  24. provid1234 says:

no offense man but you are so wrong. The 7d’s image quality is on par with the d300s. In fact I think it’s sharper than the d300s in the high isos. My dad has a d40x and I have a 7d and the d40 (although a great cam) really has shitty high iso quality, a super mediocre 3 point autofocus system. For sports photo the d40 is trashed. Even though 8fps isn’t that necessary, the d40 uses sd cards (much slower than cf) and it has a really slow buffer. The d40 and 7d just don’t compare.
